Lack of Empathy = Cyber Bullying

Cyber bullying is perhaps the most visible and well-known negative impact of online activity. The end result of not seeing what another is thinking or feeling, due to a variety of reasons, is this form of bullying that is arguably more pervasive than most forms of bullying of the pre-internet age. We often see cyber bullying affecting kids and teens, but it is a problem throughout all levels of our culture regardless of age or generation. The lack of empathy that comes with online interactions means we are seeing more examples of cyber bullying taking place in gaming, politics, movies, sports, and every type of online discussion.
